Haarex Clinic's healthcare team keeps up with the latest technological advancements. They regularly attend conferences and provide training in numerous countries worldwide to develop these techniques and ensure their patients achieve flawless naturalness and aesthetics. A successful hair transplant is determined by constantly monitoring technology, adhering to the latest techniques, and adhering to the latest methods. While the FUE hair transplant technique has already achieved painless hair transplantation with the Comfort-In Technique, the Sapphire FUE hair transplant technique offers our patients even more advanced results, denser transplants, and the ability to adjust the natural hair direction to 40-45 degrees.
Sapphire channel opening, part of the traditional FUE technique, is made from the precious mineral sapphire, as its name suggests. Sapphire is antibacterial, sharp, smooth, and hard. Because the channels are created, they reduce trauma and tissue damage in the recipient area, eliminating the risk of infection. Sapphire blades allow for more frequent channel openings. A higher number of grafts can be transplanted, resulting in denser hair and a more natural appearance. Compared to steel blades, less fluid is injected into the subcutaneous tissue, minimizing post-transplant edema (swelling) in the scalp.
The blades are used in the traditional FUE method. Steel-tipped slit blades were used. The newest method, the sapphire channel, allows for the creation of smaller channels in the recipient area, minimizes post-transplant scaling, and accelerates the healing process, providing patients with increased comfort after hair transplantation.
Hair transplantation is generally done in three stages: 1. Collecting the follicles from the donor area, 2. Opening channels in the area where the transplant will be made, and 3. Planting new follicles into the channels.
The channels created with the metal blades used in the traditional FUE method are U-shaped. However, the channels created with modern sapphire blades are V-shaped. Sapphire blades range in size from 0.8 mm to 1.5 mm, depending on the type of root thickness. The channels created with these precise, smooth, and hard sapphire blades are the exact size of the hair follicle. They provide excellent results by transplanting follicles close together, resulting in denser hair growth, less risk of bleeding during the transplant, and faster healing.
Because the channels are smooth and hard, they provide less trauma to the recipient area, minimize tissue damage, and eliminate the risk of infection.
Less fluid is injected into the subcutaneous area where the transplant will be made, and post-transplant edema (swelling) in the head area is minimized.
Since the channel strips opened with sapphire blades are more micro, the tissue healing time after transplantation is faster and very little crusting occurs.
It allows for the opening of more frequent channels. A higher number of grafts are transplanted, resulting in denser hair and a more natural appearance than expected.
By having the same size as the patient's hair follicles, the follicles are placed completely inside the channels, and the most natural appearance is achieved by calculating the hair growth direction at the best angle.
Haarex Clinic has taken the globally accepted New Sapphire Percutaneous hair transplantation technique to the next level, combining its long years of experience and research pride with people's expectations of quality and excellence.
